The hope is always that someone has a quality estate plan and that, when he or she passes, that loved ones work together and don’t fight over property or potential ambiguities regarding the decedent’s last wishes. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes people don’t do any estate planning. Other times siblings will, for whatever reason, choose someone’s passing as the right time to fight with other siblings.
While I don’t know why important decisions are sometimes left out of estate plans or why the probate process tends to cause strife in families, I do know how the probate process works and how to protect your rights and assets. Whether you’re looking for someone to represent you in probate court or just trying to find someone to answer a few questions, please don’t hesitate to call me to see what I can do for you.
